I'm just hoping to catch a fat, mean Anchor River
Coho this coming weekend.
It would be hard to
top what the Eagle brought to
camp last year,
but the biggest out of the
clans present (and
fishing) would suffice.
From the fine city creek
named Campbell ,
(about) FOUR POUNDS OF RAW COHO FURY:
I have had a good start
here in LA - warming up to the feel of silver
lips on the steel of a sharp hook and how to
wrestle them with the cheapest fly rod/reel
set I have, personally, ever witnessed
Freddy's have marked-down sales on.
Derby contestants of the clans,
we are coming down to fish.

That comparison photo is great, what a slab it will be a record that will go unbroken for a few years. Adding up numbers this am, looks like three generations of family will be fishing the derby, four if we can talk Nattie and "Little Red" into fishing. Dana and Sierra will also be fishing the tournament this year, goes without saying whose rod they they will be using. Dave Miller (50) will also be fishing the tournament, last time he fished the Anchor River he was in grade school!
Four days early, logged in a 14 Pounder this morning on the official scales at the HITW, witness by the entire Moose Clan.
uh-oh. go big, or stay home?
