Camping Made Easy

Always looking for inovations that will make camping easier as well as reducing "chore" time to a minimum so there is more time to play. Came across this product tonight, looks good to me and may be a suitable repelacement for SPAM. If you want to keep an eye on new products being discovered, the site gizmodo.com is a good one.

Was out this evening at about 9:30 with the pups. Under an almost clear sky, almost full moon, it was a warm evening, I think we are now into the winterspring season, my hopes are building that we have seen the worse. From now on, it is a count down to spring. Not getting dark until after 7:00 pm is also a good sign. I am so happy!!!!!!!

Lady Eagle and I are already preping for spring, you are going to have a lot of catching up to do. Yesterday, during the blizzard, we watch the entire episode of Dead Man's Walk. Today, during the blizzard and this evening, we watched the entire six hour episode of Lonesome Dove. The "Return to Lonesome Dove" is next on the list. If there is a trivia contest come this spring, we will be in good shape. She now knows what Ranger Bill is referring to when he says, "Get your guns, Blueduck could come riding in anytime."

First trivia question: Captain Woodrow Call rode a gray horse in Lonesome Dove, what was the name and sex of the horse?

It kind of surprises me that none of the "readers" of our clans have an answer to this trivia. Maybe it is because they haven't read this post? Regardless, I would expect the name should be easy to remember if mentioned even once in the story as his ridden girl was named "The Hell Bitch".
What kind of prize do I win, huh?
Must be extra points for not being an avid reader...

You are to be commended for your mental retention as the name of the horse has been published several times on this blog by a variety of respondents to the site. However, unfortunatley, I must tell you that you are wrong! But not totally wrong, although there has been no other respondents I must disclose the answer so you will feel better about yourself. Captain Call's horse which he broke while living on his little ranch in Lonesome Dove, Texas was named "The Hell Bitch", I have watched this movie perhaps fifty times or more. Yesterday while viewing the movie with Lady Eagle, on two occasions I noted and there are likely more as I just happened to discover it, but "The Hell Bitch" is indeed a gelding and not a mare as the name would imply. Sorry no prize for guesses only 50% correct and no extra points.

The Hell Bitch but if you look closely the Hell Bitch is a gelding
