Winter Visit

On Sunday, the "Woodman" brought in the heavy equipment and broke open the roadway into the Hole In The Wall Recreational Area. He had to move a lot of snow to get his "wood trailer" out, but for the remainder of the winter the "ole plow truck" should be able to handle any additional snow cover. The concern now is how to melt all of the snow and drain the residue.

I like the careful planning on berm placement - right over the sink hole to keep it "glaciered" for MMDay. If we plan the melt-down right, we could get rid of a lot of camp rubbish in the underground creekbed and, in turn, it should firm up the land.
A little farther back, and it could send the Wolf den and Buffalo's into a New Ice Age.
A lot of snow this year! Now is the time to consider constructing a walk-in cooler...your design!
Will send $ for blue board...

thanks for the extra melt off in the soup hole. should work out well for the camp garden this year.

With all that snow surrounding our outer edges, just think how much cooler it will be when those sunny temeratures push up to the 50 degree mark. Perhaps, we could rig some fans to blow the cool air towards the gazebo to help us cool down. Remember to pack the snowpants and mittens for the little ones, they may need them in July.

Sculptures!!! Ice sculptures...we in bed beer and soda into the structure and as it thaws all summer...cool crisp ice cold drinks!! Pack those snow berms around the out house and the coolness should help keep down the smell and the wait!
