Construction Update

First Day

Second Day

Third Day

The roof support framing completed today and the commencement of the rafter placement. Progress is slow, but little interruptions like a squirrel in the empty garbage can be a distracting, plus just a lot of thinking time over a cup of coffee, enjoying the sun. You should carefully watch the construction phase pictures as there will be a guessing game upon completion, the person with the correct guess will be awarded a prize.

Like most construction jobs, we endeavor to train those interested in the carpentry industry and learn the trades so we do offer an "Apprenticeship Program" to those who qualify. All safety requirements are strictly adhered to while working on a job site with overhead construction.

Nice structure, guys! It's good to see an apprentice in training. What a good project for the trainee to learn a most important word - "fudge". I wish I could be there to be ridiculed in person for the "slapped" 90's and learn about fudge. We hope to be present for the Vern Harrington derby, this year. 15 lbs will be tough to match, though, for a winning entry.

hey osha would require that apprentice to have on eye protection and gloves!!! Our coffer jar did not have enough in it to pay the fines for not using proper safety equipment...Buffies hope to be there soon...maybe next weekend....

That is my hard hat. Was the scaffolding of earlier projects a part of the apprenticeship too?

Notice how he carefully cropped the views of the hammock from our sight.

I did notice that, Uncle bill.

I am wondering how he is gonna get hunter up there to lay the roof? Maybe a pulley system?

No work done yesterday, a rain day! Did have to make a quick run back to the lumber yards to get more sticks, who would have ever guessed that I would under estimate, but I blame it on the blueprints! My apprentice has no fear, I am sure he will want to work on top of the high rise.
